After relaunching our event marketplace, Ticketopolis is rolling out a matching redesign for individual event pages, the page an attendee actually lands on after finding an event through search or a shared link. The new design carries the same visual language as the marketplace, and it comes with a change organizers have been asking for: personalizing a page now takes one image, not two.

One flyer

Most organizers already have a flyer for their event, something built in a design tool and shared on social media long before a ticket is ever sold. Under the old setup, that flyer was just one input and an image header was also needed. The new event page design flips that. Upload the flyer, and Ticketopolis pulls colors, layout emphasis, and visual tone directly from it, producing a page that already looks like the event's own branding without a separate design pass.

Why this matters for organizers without a design team

Independent promoters, student organizations, and small nonprofits rarely have a designer on staff dedicated to the ticketing page specifically. They already made a flyer. Asking them to then rebuild that same look manually, in a different was friction that added no real value. Now the flyer does double duty: it drives ticket sales on social media, and it becomes the visual foundation of the event page itself.

Consistent with the new marketplace

This update is a direct continuation of our marketplace redesign. The same visual system that now powers event discovery, search, seasonal listings, and the new blog carries through to the event page an attendee eventually lands on, so the experience feels like one connected product rather than a search page bolted onto a separate checkout form.

What organizers can still customize

A single flyer covers the visual foundation, but organizers aren't locked into it. Event details (date, venue, ticket types, description, and additional info and images) still update independently of the image, and organizers who want more control can still adjust specific elements manually. The flyer just removes the requirement to build a look from scratch before an event page feels finished.

Faster setup, not less control

The goal isn't fewer options, it's fewer required steps before a page looks ready to share. An organizer who wants a fully custom page can still build one. An organizer who just needs their event live in the next few minutes, using the flyer they already made, now gets a page that looks intentional by default.

Live now

The updated event page design is live today for every active event on Ticketopolis, with no setup required beyond uploading the same flyer organizers already use elsewhere.

Ticketopolis's event marketplace just got a full redesign: and it's built to do a lot more than list what's on sale. Starting today, the page where attendees browse and discover events has a new look, a real search experience, and a set of tools designed to help people actually find something worth going to, not just scroll past it.

A search built for finding, not just filtering

The old approach to browsing events asked people to scroll through long lists and hope something caught their eye. The new marketplace puts search front and center: look up an event by name, city, venue, or category, and get results that actually match what you're looking for. Whether someone knows exactly what they want to attend or is just exploring what's happening nearby, the search is built to get them there faster.

Seasonal events, front and center

Some of the best events are tied to a time of year (festivals, back-to-school fairs, holiday markets, summer concert series) and they deserve more visibility than a generic listing buried in a long feed. The redesigned marketplace now surfaces seasonal and timely events in their own dedicated space, so organizers running a time-sensitive event get better visibility exactly when it matters most, and attendees see what's relevant to the moment instead of what's simply newest.

A blog built around the experience, not just the product

Alongside the marketplace, Ticketopolis is launching a blog section with news, ideas, and recommendations for people planning to attend or organize events: think city guides, event-planning tips, and roundups of what's worth checking out. It's a space built for browsing and discovery, not a features list, and it gives both attendees and organizers a reason to come back to Ticketopolis even between purchases.

And more on the way

This redesign is the foundation for a marketplace that keeps growing: better recommendations, more ways to browse by interest, and improvements guided directly by how people actually use it. What's live today (search, seasonal events, and the new blog) is just the first version of where the marketplace is headed.

Why this matters for organizers

A better-discovered event is a better-attended one. For organizers, a marketplace that's easier to search and better organized around what's actually happening right now means more qualified traffic landing on an event page without any extra marketing spend. It's the same principle behind everything Ticketopolis builds: reduce the friction between someone wanting to go to something and actually getting there.

Try it out

The new marketplace is live now for every event on Ticketopolis: no setup needed on the organizer's side, and no extra cost. If your event is already listed, it's already part of the redesigned experience.

Find it. Book it. Live it, now easier to find than ever.

Every Ticketopolis ticket can now be added directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, one more way to make sure a ticket is exactly where an attendee needs it to be on event day, without digging through an inbox or a WhatsApp thread to find it.

One tap, and it's on the phone's lock screen

Tickets delivered by Ticketopolis already arrive by email and WhatsApp. Now, from that same ticket, attendees can add it straight to their phone's wallet app with a single tap: no separate app to download, no account to create. Once it's added, the ticket sits alongside boarding passes, loyalty cards, and payment cards, ready to open from the lock screen without unlocking a phone, searching an inbox, or scrolling through old messages.

Why this matters at the door

A ticket buried in an email thread is a ticket that takes longer to find at exactly the moment a line is moving and a gate scanner is waiting. Wallet tickets solve that by putting the QR code one tap away, and they even work without an internet connection, useful at venues where cell service gets overloaded the moment a crowd shows up. For organizers, that means a faster-moving line and less time spent helping attendees dig up a ticket they know they bought but can't immediately find.

It also means fewer lost tickets

Screenshots get buried in camera rolls. Emails get deleted by accident. A ticket saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet stays put: reachable directly from the wallet app any time between purchase and the event, without depending on a specific message thread still being there.

How it works

There's nothing new to set up. When a buyer receives their ticket from Ticketopolis, an "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Wallet" option appears automatically, matched to their device. Tapping it saves the ticket's real QR code to the wallet app, the same code used for check-in, so scanning it at the door works exactly the same as scanning a ticket from email or WhatsApp.

Built for every kind of event

This isn't limited to a specific ticket type or event category. General admission, numbered seats, or zoned tickets all support wallet integration the same way, which means the feature works whether it's a concert, a conference badge, a sports ticket, or a community fundraiser entry.

What this means for organizers

Faster check-in isn't just a convenience for attendees: it's fewer bottlenecks at the gate, fewer manual lookups from staff, and a smoother start to the event overall. Combined with QR code check-in and real-time analytics, wallet integration is one more piece of making entry to an event as close to frictionless as possible.

Try it now

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet support is live today for every event on Ticketopolis, automatically, at no extra cost. The next ticket a buyer receives will already have the option waiting for them.

Find it. Book it. Live it. And now, carry it in your wallet too.

Starting today, every ticket sold through Ticketopolis can be delivered by WhatsApp, alongside the email delivery organizers already rely on. It's a small change on the surface, one extra delivery channel, but it solves one of the most common complaints event organizers hear from their attendees: "I never got my ticket."

The problem with email-only delivery

Email has been the default way to deliver tickets for years, and for a lot of buyers it still works fine. But it isn't the whole story. Confirmation emails land in spam folders, get buried under promotions, or simply go unread until the day of the event, if they're opened at all. For organizers, that means a share of attendees show up without their ticket in hand, creating avoidable friction at the door and putting extra pressure on check-in staff who have to look up orders manually.

Why WhatsApp

WhatsApp is where a large share of Ticketopolis's audience already spends their time: checking messages throughout the day, not just when they think to open their inbox. Delivering a ticket there means it arrives somewhere a buyer is actually likely to see it, with none of the extra steps of searching an inbox the night of an event.

How it works

There's nothing new for organizers to configure. When a buyer completes a purchase on Ticketopolis, their ticket is generated and delivered automatically by email as before, and now by WhatsApp as well, sent to the phone number provided at checkout. The ticket itself works exactly the same way whether it's opened from an email or a WhatsApp message: the same unique code, ready to be scanned at check-in.

For buyers, that means one less thing to worry about. For organizers, it means fewer "I can't find my ticket" messages in the days leading up to an event, and fewer holdups at the door from guests who genuinely never saw their confirmation.

Who benefits most

This matters for every kind of event Ticketopolis supports, but it's especially useful for community events, family-oriented gatherings, and any audience that leans on messaging apps more than email.

What's next

WhatsApp delivery is live now for every event created on Ticketopolis, at no extra cost and with no setup required: it's simply part of how tickets are delivered going forward. As always, the goal is the same one behind every feature we build: fewer obstacles between a ticket being bought and an attendee actually making it through the door.

For congresses, conferences, and expos, a ticket isn't really the end goal: getting into the room is just step one. What happens once attendees are inside, and how easily they can connect with each other, matters just as much. Starting today, organizers running this kind of event can generate attendee badges instead of standard tickets directly on Ticketopolis, with a QR code built in specifically to make networking easier.

Badges instead of tickets, where it makes sense

Not every event needs a badge, a concert or a community fair still works best with a standard ticket. But for conferences, congresses, and expos, a badge is what attendees actually wear and reference all day: name, role, company, and event access all in one place. Organizers running these kinds of events can now switch a ticket type to generate a printable badge instead, without changing anything else about how registration or check-in works.

A QR code that does more than check someone in

Every badge includes a QR code, and instead of only encoding a check-in reference, it also carries the attendee's contact information as a standard vCard: name, title, company, email, and phone, exactly as they provided it at registration. That means any other attendee can scan someone's badge and instantly save their contact to their own phone, no app required, no manually typing an email into a new contact card between sessions.

Why this matters for conferences specifically

Networking is one of the main reasons people attend a conference in the first place, and it's usually the part that depends the most on chance: whoever happens to be next to you at lunch, or whoever you manage to catch before they rush to the next session. A scannable badge removes the friction of exchanging contact information in the moment: no business cards to keep track of, no "let's connect on LinkedIn later" that quietly never happens.

Set up alongside everything else

Badge generation isn't a separate system bolted onto Ticketopolis: it works through the same registration and ticketing flow organizers already use. Attendees register the same way they always have; the organizer simply selects badge-style tickets, and Ticketopolis handles generating each attendee's badge with their networking QR code included, ready to print or display digitally at check-in.

Works with check-in you already have

Badges are fully compatible with Ticketopolis's existing QR code check-in, so staff scanning attendees in at the door use the same process as always: the badge's QR code still confirms entry, in addition to carrying the attendee's contact card for use throughout the event.

Who this is for

This is built specifically for organizers running congresses, professional conferences, trade shows, and expos: any event where attendees are there to learn from and connect with each other, not just watch something happen. If your event has ever needed a "networking hour" to manually solve this problem, badges with built-in vCard QR codes solve it automatically for every attendee, all day.

Getting started

Badge-style tickets are available now for any event on Ticketopolis. Sign up free and switch your next conference or expo over to badges in just a few minutes.

Find it. Book it. Live it. And now, connect while you're there.

Ticketopolis now supports live streaming and video on demand for virtual and hybrid events, through a new integration with Dailymotion, and it comes at no additional cost to organizers.

One platform, from ticket sale to the broadcast itself

Until now, organizers running a virtual or hybrid event often had to stitch together a ticketing platform and a separate streaming service, then figure out how to keep the two in sync. With this integration, that gap closes: an organizer sets up their event on Ticketopolis, sells tickets the same way they always have, and the same platform hosts the live broadcast, in Full HD, with the signal restricted to whoever actually purchased a ticket. Once an event ends, that same stream can remain available as video on demand, so attendees who couldn't make the live session (or who simply want to watch it again) still get access.

How organizers get set up

Setting up a stream works the same way it does with any standard live streaming service: Ticketopolis provides a dedicated streaming server and a unique stream key for the event, ready to plug into whatever broadcasting software or hardware the organizer already uses. There's no new workflow to learn: just a server and key, same as organizers running virtual events are already used to configuring elsewhere.

No additional cost, here's how that works

Adding streaming to an event doesn't come with an extra line-item cost. Instead, it's subsidized by a short advertisement that plays when an attendee joins the broadcast, similar to how ad-supported video works elsewhere, but scoped narrowly to the moment someone joins rather than interrupting the event itself. Organizers on the Premium plan have the option to remove that ad entirely, for events where an uninterrupted, fully branded experience matters more.

Built for events, not just video

Because the stream lives inside the same event page attendees already bought their ticket through, it's built around what an event actually needs rather than being a generic video player bolted on. Access stays tied to the purchase: a ticket unlocks the stream for the person who bought it, without the signal getting passed around or reused across multiple devices, so the same protections organizers rely on for in-person check-in carry over to a virtual audience.

Who this is for

This is aimed squarely at organizers running virtual and hybrid events: conferences with a remote track, festivals streaming a stage to people who can't attend in person, webinars, and any event where part of the audience is joining from somewhere other than the venue. For hybrid events specifically, it means one ticket type and one platform can serve both the in-person and the remote audience, rather than running two separate systems side by side.

Available now

Live streaming and on-demand video are available today for any event on Ticketopolis, at no additional cost beyond the short join-time ad or with that ad removed entirely on Premium. Sign up free and add a live stream to your next event alongside your regular ticket sales.
