Ticketopolis now supports live streaming and video on demand for virtual and hybrid events, through a new integration with Dailymotion, and it comes at no additional cost to organizers.

One platform, from ticket sale to the broadcast itself

Until now, organizers running a virtual or hybrid event often had to stitch together a ticketing platform and a separate streaming service, then figure out how to keep the two in sync. With this integration, that gap closes: an organizer sets up their event on Ticketopolis, sells tickets the same way they always have, and the same platform hosts the live broadcast, in Full HD, with the signal restricted to whoever actually purchased a ticket. Once an event ends, that same stream can remain available as video on demand, so attendees who couldn't make the live session (or who simply want to watch it again) still get access.

How organizers get set up

Setting up a stream works the same way it does with any standard live streaming service: Ticketopolis provides a dedicated streaming server and a unique stream key for the event, ready to plug into whatever broadcasting software or hardware the organizer already uses. There's no new workflow to learn: just a server and key, same as organizers running virtual events are already used to configuring elsewhere.

No additional cost, here's how that works

Adding streaming to an event doesn't come with an extra line-item cost. Instead, it's subsidized by a short advertisement that plays when an attendee joins the broadcast, similar to how ad-supported video works elsewhere, but scoped narrowly to the moment someone joins rather than interrupting the event itself. Organizers on the Premium plan have the option to remove that ad entirely, for events where an uninterrupted, fully branded experience matters more.

Built for events, not just video

Because the stream lives inside the same event page attendees already bought their ticket through, it's built around what an event actually needs rather than being a generic video player bolted on. Access stays tied to the purchase: a ticket unlocks the stream for the person who bought it, without the signal getting passed around or reused across multiple devices, so the same protections organizers rely on for in-person check-in carry over to a virtual audience.

Who this is for

This is aimed squarely at organizers running virtual and hybrid events: conferences with a remote track, festivals streaming a stage to people who can't attend in person, webinars, and any event where part of the audience is joining from somewhere other than the venue. For hybrid events specifically, it means one ticket type and one platform can serve both the in-person and the remote audience, rather than running two separate systems side by side.
