Ticketopolis refreshes event page design, now built around a single flyer

After relaunching our event marketplace, Ticketopolis is rolling out a matching redesign for individual event pages, the page an attendee actually lands on after finding an event through search or a shared link. The new design carries the same visual language as the marketplace, and it comes with a change organizers have been asking for: personalizing a page now takes one image, not two.

One flyer

Most organizers already have a flyer for their event, something built in a design tool and shared on social media long before a ticket is ever sold. Under the old setup, that flyer was just one input and an image header was also needed. The new event page design flips that. Upload the flyer, and Ticketopolis pulls colors, layout emphasis, and visual tone directly from it, producing a page that already looks like the event's own branding without a separate design pass.

Why this matters for organizers without a design team

Independent promoters, student organizations, and small nonprofits rarely have a designer on staff dedicated to the ticketing page specifically. They already made a flyer. Asking them to then rebuild that same look manually, in a different was friction that added no real value. Now the flyer does double duty: it drives ticket sales on social media, and it becomes the visual foundation of the event page itself.

Consistent with the new marketplace

This update is a direct continuation of our marketplace redesign. The same visual system that now powers event discovery, search, seasonal listings, and the new blog carries through to the event page an attendee eventually lands on, so the experience feels like one connected product rather than a search page bolted onto a separate checkout form.

What organizers can still customize

A single flyer covers the visual foundation, but organizers aren't locked into it. Event details (date, venue, ticket types, description, and additional info and images) still update independently of the image, and organizers who want more control can still adjust specific elements manually. The flyer just removes the requirement to build a look from scratch before an event page feels finished.

Faster setup, not less control

The goal isn't fewer options, it's fewer required steps before a page looks ready to share. An organizer who wants a fully custom page can still build one. An organizer who just needs their event live in the next few minutes, using the flyer they already made, now gets a page that looks intentional by default.

Live now

The updated event page design is live today for every active event on Ticketopolis, with no setup required beyond uploading the same flyer organizers already use elsewhere.
